I bet you’re wondering what the F stands for. Do you know? Well it stands for FORMULA , Formula1. It’s a game played by 20 participants from all over the world with a racing car which ranges from 0 -360kmph. It’s one of the finest single-seater auto racing car .

The first world Championship was won by Italian Giuseppe Farin in his Alfa Romeo in 1950. He won defeating his Argentine teammate Juan Manuel Fangio. However Fangio has won almost all of his matches; in 1951, 1954, 1955, 1956 & 1957. His record stood for nearly 45 years until when German Driver Michael Schumacher took his title in 2003.

Safety Car:

The Safety car comes into game when the director wants to reduce speed for safety reasons – after an accident or if the track is filled with water.

Competitors must still remain in formation (no overtaking) when the safety cars in track. The safety car comes at the start of the lap and will pull off into the pit at the end of the current lap, then the competitors restart their battle. Since 1996 the safety car has been supplied by Mercedes Benz.

For the 2018 season, they will use the Benz’s 577-horsepower AMG GT R machine.

Points:

At the closing stage of each race the first 10 winners will get awarded points. It’s awarded to the drivers and the constructors: Ferrari, Honda, Mercedes…

Winning and Podium:

The top 3 winners get awarded with prizes and get to stand at the podium. Then the national anthem of the winning driver is played. The trophies are given in order: Winner, Winning Constructor, 2^nd and 3^rd. The winning drivers gets given a bottle of Champagne to celebrate. In some countries where alcohol is not authorized, sparkling fruit juice is given. Then the drivers have an interview held at the podium for the public. In a severe injury, the whole celebration is skipped.

Ferrari is the most winning constructor and has 230 wins. Ferrari won 15 Championships: 1952, 1953, 1956, 1958, 1961, 1964, 1975, 1977, 1979, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 & 2007. It uses Ferrari 063 engine and won 228 victories.

Mercedes Petronas

Mercedes is the fifth most winning constructor with 76 wins. Mercedes has won 4 Championships: 2014, 2015, 2016 & 2017. It uses Mercedes MO9 EQ Power+ Engine. It has 668 points in 2017.

Red Bull Racing

Red Bull is the sixth most winning constructor and entered 245 games. Red Bull won 4 Championships: 2010, 2011,2012 & 2013. It uses Tag Heuer Renault R.E.18 Engine.

Toro Rosso uses Honda RA 618H Engine. Rosso’s team manager is Graham Watson and entered 7^th (53points) in 2017.

Force India

Force India uses Mercedes M09 EQ Power+ Engine. Force India’s team manager is Vijay Mallya and the team ended 4^th with 187 points in 2017 season.

Sauber F1 Team

Sauber F1 team uses Ferrari 063 engine and had entered 444 games and has 27 podiums. It’s manager is Frederic Vasseur and came 10^th with 5 points in 2017.

Williams Martini Racing

Williams is the third most winning constructor with 114 wins. It uses Mercedes M09 EQ Power+ Engine. It has 690 entered races.

The Haas team uses Ferrari 063 engine and was 8^th with 47 points in 2017.

McLaren is the second most winning constructor with 182 wins and uses Renault R.E. 18 Engine. McLaren entered 826 games with 822 starts.

Renault is the seventh most winning constructor with 35 wins. Renault has won 2 championships 2005, 2006. It uses Renault R.E. 18 Engine. It has entered 345 races with 342 starts. It was 6^th with 57 points in 2017.
