I lifted one, placed the other,
grains of sand raining beneath.
Swift little legs took’em farther,
away into the deep-deep waters underneath!
Pair of pillars atop the sand,
with waves bringing them a stinge of cold!
Little calcareous shells washing ashore,
clueless if it’s dead or alive!
Pacing along the shores of bliss,
took with it the hard earned gloom!
Symmetry of sea-stars and of city-light,
all along clueless,
as the ocean wins my life, the lights portray my dark, gloom, loosing side!
Two stars make up the eyes afar on the sky,
while the waves giggles with all it’s might!
Lost in sea is a man standing ashore,
all along clueless what’s life before!
Lucky is the shore that can hear every a baby’s smile or a love’s kiss,
jealous is the water that tries but fails to reach beyond!
Along the shores I also heard,
the sounds of shells inside the rushing waves.
My foot sunk deep as the waves come and go,
‘Life is all about loving and let go’.
You can sink deep, deep into someone’s life,
it’s nature that decides who is sand and who is shore!
There came a mother with her happy young baby,
it’s eyes had the power of that of the waves.
It washed the gloom and put a smile,
even time stopped by to witness the angelic charm.
“You”, said he; “No! You”, said she,
the fire burned high between these two!
In the court of nature, crabs are the lawyers.
Two crabs walked sideways with their eyes on them.
They saw the lawyers and moved towards the other,
And making their eyes meet by crossing each other.
It took some time but the holy dance worked!
“I”, said she; “am sorry”, completed he!
Mother nature shed happy tears upon the land,
that even made the lights to travel random and slant.*
“We’re connected beneath”, consoled the shore,
Ocean echoed in all its waves,
“I reach out to you always and hence, you are not named sand but shore!”,
and kissed it’s cheeks ashore!
